چکیده

Abstract The combination effect of fine-metakaolin (FMK) and coal bottom ash (CBA) as cement fine aggregate replacement in seawater-concrete was investigated to reduce environmental issues such carbon emission, global warming, insufficient water resource. Optimum percentages 10%, 20% 30% determined Stage 1 through compression strength test. 2 involved testing on mixture with FMK obtained 20%, 30%, 40% 50% CBA the replacement. Nine series concrete mixtures were prepared conduct a compressive test absorption at 7 28 days. It observed that 10% incorporated seawater had highest strength. Water mixed increased percentage increased. can be concluded is suitable substitution 10%.

The Behaviour of Concrete by Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate with Copper Slag and Cement with GGBS - An Experimental Study

The replacement of natural resources in the manufacture of cement and sand is the present issue in the present construction scenario. Copper slag and Ground Granulated Blast furnace Slag (GGBS) are industrial by-product materials produced from the process of manufacturing copper and iron. Use of Copper slag and GGBS does not only reduce the cost of construction but also helps to reduce the impa...

Thermal Conductivity and Microstructure of Concrete Using Recycle Glass as a Fine Aggregate Replacement

The prime aim of this study was to investigate the thermal conductivity of concrete using crushed recycled glass as a fine aggregate. Influencing factors on thermal conductivity of concrete are investigated using The Unitherm Model 6000 Guarded Hot Plate Thermal Conductivity Instrument. A total of 36 concrete mixes were produced with different water cement ratios (0.4 and 0.5). Recycled glass w...
